PRODUCT SUMMARY

TROPICAL IMPORT DECKING:

· Ipe—A tropical Hardwood harvested from sustainable plantations in Brazil.  An environmentally responsible choice which naturally resists rot, decay, insects, and mold without the use of toxic chemicals used in other decking products.  This Brazilian hardwood has a natural A1 fire resistance rating.  It is an incredibly strong, dense wood, and is essentially splinter-free.  It’s a beautiful choice at a price point similar to clear redwood.

· Mangaris—Also known as “Red Balau” is a tropical hardwood from sustainable plantations in Indonesia and has a look similar to Ipe.  It is extremely hard, clear, tight grained, and has less color variations than other hardwoods.  Finished will maintain a “furniture look” of rich mahogany, or will weather to a silver gray if left natural.  The price point is comparable to clear redwood and Ipe.

COMPOSITE DECKING & RAILING:

· Trex—Leading brand for composite decking available in various styles and colors.  Environmentally responsible composite decking made from 50% recycled wood and reclaimed plastic carries a 25 year residential warranty and 10 year commercial warranty.

· TimberTechComposite decking option that is low maintenance, safe, durable, and increases the value of your home.  It is a sustainable product that meets the California Fire Codes.
