RETURN POLICY

· No returns for credit after 30 days.

· Special order items are not returnable for credit.

· All custom milled items are not returnable for credit.

· Engineered wood products are special ordered and custom cut to your specifications, so therefore are not returnable for credit.  This includes I-Joists, Glu-lam Beams, LVL, Rim, and PSL Beams.

· All items accepted for return must be in a saleable condition, or similar to the condition of which the product was originally sold.

· Open hardware boxes are not returnable for credit.

· ALL ITEMS RETURNED TO THE YARD BY THE CUSTOMER ARE SUBJECT TO A 25% RESTOCKING FEE.

· ALL ITEMS PICKED UP ON THE JOBSITE BY AN OSBORNE LUMBER COMPANY TRUCK ARE SUBJECT TO A 50% RESTOCKING FEE.

 

Note:  Restocking fees are not applicable for return requests resulting from Osborne Lumber Company errors.  Consignment returns are available as a service, but forwarded credit is not guaranteed.  Additional freight charges may apply.  See below for details.

 

CONSIGNMENT POLICY

 

· Items that are not returnable for credit per OLC return policy may be eligible for return on consignment.  Eligibility to be determined by the OLC sales representative.

· Items accepted for consignment return are put into OLC inventory and eligible for subsequent sale.  They are to be held for a maximum of 6 months.  If material is not sold, it is discarded with disposal fees covered by OLC.

· For items that are subsequently sold, OLC will issue a credit to the consignor for 50% of subsequent sale value.  The gap represents costs associated with storage, handling, and disposal fees for material not subsequently sold in the consignment program.  OLC salesmen may discount consignment items as they see fit (whatever it takes to move, or as market dictates).

· OLC DOES NOT GURANTEE CREDIT FOR ANY ITEMS RETURNED ON CONSIGNMENT.  We are not a pawn shop and do not operate as such.

· OLC agrees to handle disposal fees associated with obsolete or aging material that can not be sold.

· Requests for re-ship of consignment returned items are subject to applicable storage, handling, and shipping fees.
