FASTENERS

· General Purpose Screws:  For wood-to-wood applications we carry zinc coated screws.  Cosmetically appealing for general woodworking but does not offer rust protection.  Available in 1”, 1-1/4”, 1-5/8”, 2”, 2-1/2”, & 3”.

· Exterior Screws (PrimeGuard Plus):  Polymer-coated screws that protects the fastener against corrosive elements.  These screws carry a manufacturer lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion (including when used on pressure treated lumber).  Available in 1-5/8”, 2”, 2-1/2”, & 3”.

· Composite Deck Screws:  For composite wood materials.  Shank has two types of threads:  oversized threads near top of screw help pull excess composite material back into hole, while course thread on remainder of shank easily penetrates material.  Type 17 point minimizes need for pre-drilling and insures quick and easy penetration.  Available in standard composite deck colors (red, brown, & grey).  Available in 2-1/2” & 3”.

· Self Tapping Screws:  Zinc coated bugle head, designed for fastening wood or gypsum to steel studs.  Available in 1-1/4”, 1-7/8”, 2-3/8”, & 3”.

Lag Bolts / Lag Screws:  For wood construction.  Hot Dipped Galvanized finish in stock.  Zinc plated, regular steel, and stainless steel also available.  Available in 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4” thickness.  Std lengths range from 1”-16”.  Longer bolts are available by special order.

Threaded Rod:  Zinc plated or Hot Dipped Galvanized.  Available in 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”, 7/8”, 1”, & 1-1/8” thickness.  36” and 10’ standard lengths.

Coupler Nuts & Reducers:  Zinc plated or Hot Dipped Galvanized.  Available in 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”, 7/8”, & 1-1/8”.  Simpson brand available with witness holes.  Oversized threads available for HDG bolts.

Green Building Hardware Items

Adhesives:  PL400 Construction adhesive is VOC, NAHB, and LEED compliant and is used for sub-flooring, exterior sheathing, siding, decks, metal, and FRP Panels.  It provides a powerful, permanent bond and features a manufacturer “No Call Back Guarantee”.

Insulation Products:  Insulation available in batt, rolls, and rigid.  R13, R19, and R30 available in 15” & 24” batts.  Save energy and $$ by properly insulating your home.  Ask about Owens Corning PINK Insulation, which is manufactured using recycled content.

Moisture Control Products:  Housewrap (4’ & 9’ Rolls), and flashings available to keep moisture out of the house and prevents mold. 

Ventilation / Air Flow:  We carry a selection of gable, stucco, and foundation vents that improve air flow throughout a house and prevents mold.  Call with your specifications.
